Saturated with 80's pop-culture and putting the über-geek front and center as the protagonist, Ready Player One is one of our favorite novels. With the book's plethora of fantasy, sci-fi, movie, book and video game themed worlds, its endless quotes and references to 80's geek life, and the relatable characters, we've returned again and again to this world, mostly via audiobook, but we enjoy the film for what it is as well.
