4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

This verse can make it look as though Christians are gullible and we give people license to walk all over us and mistreat us because we are weak.  How is living in accordance with this verse actually a display of strength and trust in God? How is Jesus our example of this kind of strength? (Consider Matt 26:53 and John 10:17-18)
