Christa Hoch was happy for her kids to attend the Christian Karate Academy and learn about self-defense. What she didn't know is that an unforeseen turn of events would put her into a position of leadership. Ten years later, she is a co-owner of the Christian Karate and Jiu-jitsu Academy with three Tulsa area locations and a 40-acre property being transformed into a camp and retreat center. And it all happened because someone recognized leadership skills she didn't know existed and provided an opportunity to grow those skills.
