Nesta is continuing to hate herself after refusing to train with Cassian. She returns to The House of Wind where she takes a hot bath to prepare for her work in the library. Nesta meets Clotho and she can’t help seeing her traumas and not think of her own. Nesta begins to be in her own head until she starts the work Clotho assigns to her and her mind finally begins to silence. Meanwhile Cassian is checking up on Lucien, Vassa, and Jurien. He is surprised to find Eris there, but gets updated on the current state of things. News flash they aren’t looking good, it looks like another war may be upon them soon….
