I knew that the season would soon be over, so I hurried up to the Orchard where several lady slippers were holding court in a corner close to the stone wall. Fortunately, I got there in time, and it reminded me of people who I only communicate with occasionally and how when we do connect, they have just been thinking of connecting with me. Time to act.
