Dan Mirvish is a filmmaker, author, and co-founder of Slamdance Film Festival. His most recent film 18 ½ follows a White House transcriber thrust into the Watergate scandal when she obtains the only copy of the infamous 18½ minute gap in Nixon's tapes. Danny Jarabek speaks with Mirvish on the challenges of the film’s COVID-halted production, his interest in speculative history, and the 70’s era setting that was achieved to fit the tone of the film. 18 ½ is now streaming on Starz.
