The Wrath of God
Romans 1:16-32
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.

Righteous: Right standing with God
Romans 1:18-20
Wrath: displeasure, extreme anger
People experience wrath because of sin; not because they have rejected Jesus.
People are separated from God before they hear about the Gospel.
No one sins in ignorance!
Why all people are held accountable
· God has revealed Himself through His creation. (20)
· God has revealed Himself through man’s conscience. (21)
Romans 1:21-32
God’s wrath is first experienced internally. (21-25)
God’s wrath is then experienced externally. (26-31)
God’s wrath will be experienced eternally. (32)
