Be intentional/ mindful.

·      Let it out with a trusted colleague

·      Schedule time to be with the emotion

Prevention strategies are helpful such as bringing in a mindfulness practice, scheduling breaks in your workday, and getting out in nature.

All of this will help you build trust and respect of your new team and set you up for success as a leader in the long run.
