Happy Hump Day everyone, and welcome to your weekly dose of Sex On The Peach. Today we’ll be talking about a topic in the sexual space that literally no one wants to address or discuss. The matter of STIs. In my opinion, it’s time we turn our attitudes about STIs away from shame and disgust, and toward support and education. It’s a minefield of unnecessary stigma and negativity, and so having awareness and being informed is key. Words like "clean" and "dirty" are for your laundry, NOT for your sexual health, and if you contract an STI it does not then mean that you are less deserving of the fulfilling sex life that you desire. So today, we’re going to discuss the STIs themselves, how to feel safer in communication surrounding them, and as always I’ll be answering some of your questions.
