In this message we look at the story of Tamar.
She was married to a son of Judah, Er and he died before they had children.
In the custom of that day Judah sent the second son, Odon to have relations with Tamar so that she could bare a child.
He had sex with her but pulled out at time to finish and GOD killed him.
Now when it came to send in the last son to get her pregnant, Judah refused.
He didn't want to loose another son to this woman.
So he sent her away to her fathers house in shame.
She made a plan and met Judah in another town.
She covered her face and he bought sex from her.
He didn't know who she was at the time.
She agreed to receive a goat as payment but he didn't have one at the time.
She told him she would hold onto his staff and signet or ring.
Of course she wasn't around when he sent his servant to pay the lady and recover the items.
Now at the house Judah finds out that Tamar is pregnant and wants her burnt to death.
But she sends him his items and tells him that he is the father.
Judah clears her name of wrong and she is now honored as his family.
We believe that the right person will hear the right message at the right time.
