In Romans 15, Paul is trying to teach us what living with the attitude of Jesus looks like. He is working to show us what it will take to live actively in complete harmony with those around us. It means we follow the patterns of Jesus. Like refusing the entitlements, we believe we deserve, becoming willing to suffer for the benefit of others, or laying down our lives in serving with no promise of benefit to us. This is the way of Jesus.
