In Luke 11:1-11, the disciples came to Jesus and said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." They wanted to lean into prayer, not because they did not know how to pray, but because they saw how Jesus' prayers were answered and how He lived in an intimacy that was foreign to them, and they wanted to know how to access it. Jesus taught them in Luke 11 how to pray and lean into a prayer. We can also learn from Jesus and pray boldly before the King of Kings.
