Vintage City Church | Revelation: Revelation 1:9-20 • David Mitchell

John, the Apostle, is helping us to understand in Revelations 1:4-20 that we, as followers of Jesus, will experience hard times. This Book has been turned into something about predicting the future, but John is writing this letter to inject courage into God's people, that we would need to patiently endure great sufferings because we have been made to be in the Kingdom of God whose inheritance is not here on earth but in God Himself. Through this letter to the seven churches, John begins to help them fix their eyes on the King. To patiently endure all suffering, we must keep our eyes on Jesus. Where in your life do you need to turn your eyes on Jesus again?
