This is the third talk in a series of lectures done by Rev. Master Jiyu in around the year 1979. In this talk Rev. Master Jiyu begins by commenting on the writing called the 'Shushogi' which is a combination of Great Master Dogen's teachings. She starts by emphasizing that true peace can only be found in practice and not in any external thing. Rev. Master then continues on to talk about various topics including taking responsibility for our own karma and describing the 'Wheel of Life' which is a visual representation of the Law of Karma.
NOTE: In this talk Rev. Master Jiyu uses the term 'Kusala Karma' and 'Akusala Karma'. These terms mean 'wholesome' and 'unwholesome' karma respectively.
