It’s all too rare in this era of instantaneous gratification and advancing onward to greater prestige and bigger paychecks to find someone willing to stay in the place that God has called them. So few, even in the pastoral world, are willing to wait for God to move them from one post in his Kingdom to the next, or are willing to accept that a single call to a single congregation could last decades. Pastor Emeritus Rick Wolling, has been in ministry for nearly half a century with over three decades at Beverly Heights Presbyterian Church before his retirement in 2018. He is a longtime friend and mentor to both Tom and Nate, and someone I’ve known since childhood. But how did Pastor Wolling’s journey begin? And how did he go from New England, to Oklahoma before coming to Pittsburgh? Join Tom Nate and Rick as they explore his faith journey. But Before we begin this week’s interview, we have a special announcement.
