Δέκα (Deka) in both ancient and modern Greek means, ten (so does Dasa in Sanskrit by the way). Δεκάς (dekas) means a group or ten parts of something, In Latin is Decadem and in English from the middle of the 15th century, it came to mean, ten years. ΔΕΚΑΣ/DECADE
