Have you ever felt so empty you substituted something you are missing with an activity, person, or place that isn't exactly what you wanted? Have you been down and out just looking for a vice that makes you feel something again? What is it that makes us have the need to fill those voids? The voids could be a partner, parent, an emotion, a feeling, memories, love, Etc. Both McCahill and Jeremy talk about the voids in their lives and the things they filled them with. They know that some voids can never be filled again, but some can! Many activities can be a great for things to improve yourself with whether its building a lasting friendship to learning a new skill you never thought possible, but we also understand that there are bad habits that people use to cope with the VOID.
