Have you ever looked through a camera from a different point of view? When you look at a picture did you see what the photographer was trying to convey? Did your eyes get opened to seeing a different perspective? There are millions of photos taken everyday, and the camera might be in your hand. Photography could be how you communicate yourself to the world, Shannon MacFarlane is a very humble human, but her story is insightful so we hope you can focus in on the snapshot of her life. Shannon shares about her brain stuff and explains what it's like to look through her lens. Now you might be trying to picture who Shannon is aren't you?

Shannon is a chronically proficient anxious human who can make any room a panic room with a few seconds and ample catastrophizing. She's autistic with a PDA profile (that's pathological demand avoidance according to "experts" and most PDAs prefer pervasive drive for autonomy), ADHD, anxiety (generalized, social, and panic), and depression - so packed full of not-so-subtle flavors. She supports families experiencing big emotions, health conditions, disabilities, and grief with photography and other forms of 2D art. Shannon lives, works, and plays in Washington State with an equally anxious German shepherd and black cat and their eyeless, black cat sister who creates anxiety for everyone around her.
