We've heard them all before, or a least our generation has heard it. "Save for rainy days, if you have to borrow money to buy it, you can't afford it, if you have to ask how much is it, you can't afford it, money don't grow on trees, and live below your means." Yes sir, these and other snippets were all taught to us about managing finances and building a base in which to build upon.
Affordability is the big buzz word today, and the Liberals love using it to create further divide in Social Class Warfare. The Liberals use "unaffordable" as the poor me victim card, in order to get votes by promising things to be more obtainable, e.g. housing, transportation fares, food, healthcare, etc.
Buying a home can be great, but getting into a home that a person cannot "afford" it is a completely different matter.
