We read the full letter of 2 Peter and track Peter’s main goal: strengthen the church through reminders that lead to real growth. We reflect on how grace, knowledge, and discernment protect us from drifting and help us live a life of holiness and unselfish love.
• Peter’s humble identity as a slave and apostle of Jesus
• God’s divine power giving everything needed for life and godliness
• The virtue ladder from faith to unselfish love and why growth matters
• Peter’s urgency to remind the church before his departure
• Eyewitness testimony of Jesus’ glory and the reliability of Scripture
• False teachers, destructive heresies, and how exploitation works
• God’s justice and rescue shown through Noah, Lot, and judgment examples
• Scoffers, the promised return, and the patience of the Lord
• Living in holiness while waiting for new heavens and a new earth
• Guarding against being led astray and growing in grace and knowledge
