I read and comment on the L.A. Times article which got me started. It is about my 5th-graders and how they hijacked a lesson about St. Patrick's Day. All non-fiction. It involves a laser pen, sheep, St. Patrick, leprechauns, and loving , kind, Latino 5th-graders.
