In this episode of Hawk Talk, April Russell, TNE contributor, welcomes two special guests, Dr. Robyn Pursley, assistant dean of the College of Liberal Arts, and Erin Corley, Fort Gibson senior, to discuss the exciting fall 2023 drama programs debuting on the stage of the NSU Playhouse.
Pursley provides a tantalizing glimpse into what awaits theatre enthusiasts with the more recent production, "THE ROCK," open to all at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7. An original adaptation of the cherished children's story, "The Stone in the Road," the unique play is crafted by NSU Drama faculty member Christopher Miller, professor of drama. The cast comprises of talented NSU Drama students, making it a perfect family-friendly outing. Admission is entirely free and seating is limited.
