Dr. Gunn is a breast surgeon at Women’s Care. She is specially trained in oncoplastic reconstruction and has special interest in nipple-sparing mastectomy and inheritable genetic mutations. Dr. Gunn earned her medical degree from Florida International University College of Medicine, completed her General Surgery Residency at Mayo Clinic Florida and is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, Florida Medical Association, American Medical Association and American College of Surgeons.
In this episode we discuss breast health and more specifically screenings that should be done, types of imaging, risk factors and when to seek help.
