Christ is our Good Shepherd. We are as helpless spiritually as sheep are helpless practically. We require Christ, our Good Shepherd, to guide us. And he does guide us through dark valleys, leading us to share each other's burdens, to taste the salt of the tears of others, and to take the good news of his merciful guidance to the world.
