We all want things. In fact, among all our desires, many can be counted as noble, God-honoring desires. Yet sometimes our desires are not brought to fruition. We wait, and wait, but God is in control, and sometimes chooses to leave our desires unfulfilled. Dr. Sams reminds us of the pitfall of conditional belief - deciding only to believe if God fulfills our desires. When we choose to believe regardless of our circumstances, we find peace in Christ.
