Gracious God and most merciful Father, who has given us the rich and precious jewel of Your holy Word: assist us with Your Spirit so that Your Word may be written in our heart for our everlasting comfort, to reform us, to renew us to be like Your image, to build us up in the perfect heavenly virtues.
