• Winning a lawsuit in California that allows GOA members from any state to obtain an out-of-state California concealed carry license.
• Successfully advocating for the National Firearms Act (NFA) tax on items like suppressors and short-barreled rifles to be reduced from $200 to zero , which is now fueling a major lawsuit.
• The conversation also covers GOA's state-level work in Texas, including the passage of laws removing short-barreled rifles from the prohibitive weapons list , enacting handgun license reciprocity with other states , and banning government gun buybacks. 
• Finally, John and Lee discuss their future goals, such as national reciprocity and eliminating "gun-free zones" (which they call "criminal empowerment zones"). They also share an inspiring story about GOA's involvement in arming pilots after 9/11.
