Police in Tanzania have now held a press conference explaining why they closed the case involving Ashlee Jenae’s passing, and one of the most controversial claims they made was that investigators allegedly found ChatGPT searches on her phone that they believe support their conclusion.

According to authorities, one of the searches reportedly asked a question involving Valium, and police also claim they found messages suggesting Ashlee was struggling emotionally and that some communications appeared to be farewell messages.

However, many people following this case are questioning those conclusions.

From the very beginning, Ashlee’s family, friends, and supporters have consistently described her as someone who was excited about her future. Since covering this case, attending both her wake and funeral, and speaking with people close to her, we have not heard anyone publicly state that they received farewell messages from Ashlee or that she was displaying signs of depression.

That has led many observers to ask additional questions. How can investigators be certain who conducted searches on a device? Were the searches independently verified? Why does so much of the information being presented now differ from what those closest to Ashlee have been saying for months?

These are questions that continue to fuel debate surrounding this case.

In this video, we break down the claims made by Tanzanian authorities, TMZ’s reporting, the reaction from supporters of Ashlee Jenae, and why many people remain unconvinced that all of the questions surrounding her passing have been answered.
