In Luke 19:41-48, Jesus weeps over Jerusalem, lamenting the city’s failure to recognize the time of its visitation and the peace He offered. Jesus foresaw the devastating consequences of their rejection: destruction, suffering, and judgment. His tears reflect deep sorrow for lost opportunities, unnecessary harm, and the blessings they forfeited. This passage serves as a sobering reminder to discern the times, respond to God’s call, and embrace His peace before it’s too late.
