Description

Supernatural Season 2, Episode 12, Nightshifter recap 🤖 A bank robbery turns into a hostage standoff, conspiracy theorist Ronald (Chris Gauthier) is convinced it's a Mandroid, and FBI Agent Victor Henriksen (Charles Malik Whitfield) makes his very first appearance on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.

Jewelry stores and banks around Milwaukee, Wisconsin, are being robbed by trusted employees who swear they don't remember a thing. The boys go undercover, Dean in a suit at a jewelry store (the girl behind the counter liked what she saw) and Sam with his hair actually styled, and meet Ronald, a security guard with a very specific theory: the robbers' eyes glow on camera, so obviously they're androids. Close, Ronald. It's a shapeshifter, back for the first time since Skin. But when Ronald takes matters into his own hands, the boys end up locked inside a bank with a room full of hostages, a monster that could be anyone, and the FBI outside.

Episode Highlights:

In the lore segment, we dig into Pauline Frey's 1973 encounter with a mysterious man in black in Pasadena, California, during a major UFO wave, and whether real-life Men in Black might actually be shapeshifters.

"I like him. He says okey dokey." – Dean Winchester
