Supernatural Season 2, Episode 16, Roadkill recap 🛣️ A couple's car swerves off a dark highway, a gutted ghost stalks the woods, and the Winchesters help a terrified woman find her missing husband on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast. It's a total season one throwback: a standalone, low-budget-horror-movie episode anyone could watch cold.
Molly (Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica) and her husband David (Dan Gauthier) are lost on Highway 41 at night when a man appears in the road. She swerves, they crash, and when she comes to, David is gone and a bloody, gutted ghost named Jonah Greeley is coming for her. Luckily, the Impala comes rolling down the highway. But on this stretch of road, nothing is quite what it seems.
Episode Highlights:
In the lore segment, we take a drive down America's most haunted roads: Arizona's Highway 93, aka Blood Alley, Ohio's Dead Man's Curve near Cincinnati, Illinois' Cherry Valley Road and Bloods Point Road, and Highway 191, the former Highway 666, aka the Devil's Highway (did the racist truck from Route 666 relocate?). Plus, our local legend, Goatman's Bridge in Texas.
Molly: "Oh, thank God."
Dean: "You can just call me Dean."
