Supernatural Season 5, Episode 4, The End recap 🧻 Zachariah sends Dean five years into the future, to 2014, where the Croatoan virus has turned the world into a zombie apocalypse, Future Dean is a hardened, ruthless leader, and Cas is a full-on HIPPIE, on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.
Sam calls Dean wanting back in, and Dean says no. Then Dean wakes up in 2014. Kansas City is a Croatoan hot zone, Bobby's place is wrecked, and the last survivors are holed up in Camp Chitaqua, led by a version of Dean who is NOT the Dean we know. Cas (Misha Collins) has gone fully human: pills, orgies, groovy vibes, the works. Chuck (Rob Benedict) is in charge of the toilet paper supply. And Future Dean has one last plan to kill the devil, with the Colt.

In the lore segment, we take a lighter turn and dig into how to talk to your future self, from building routines that your future self will thank you for to replacing negative self-talk with something kinder, and writing a letter to your future self (FutureMe.org lets you schedule one).
"This isn't funny, Dean. The voice says I'm almost out of minutes." – Castiel
