Day 53 — Sealed by Covenant
📖 Exodus 24

Today we stood at the foot of Mount Sinai — not just to hear God’s commands, but to witness something sacred.

In Exodus 24, God doesn’t simply give laws.
He establishes covenant.

Moses reads the Book of the Covenant. The people respond, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And then something powerful happens — sacrifice is made, blood is sprinkled, and the covenant is sealed.

This was not a contract built on human strength.
It was a relationship grounded in grace.

Before Israel could walk in obedience, God provided a covering. Before they could prove faithfulness, He made a way for forgiveness.

Covenant always comes with cost.
But it also comes with closeness.

At the end of the chapter, Moses and the leaders of Israel go up the mountain — and Scripture says they “saw the God of Israel… and they ate and drank.”

A covenant meal.
Communion with a holy God.
Grace that invites sinners to the table.

And this moment points forward.

Because one day, another covenant would be sealed — not with the blood of bulls, but with the blood of Christ. Not sprinkled on an altar of stone, but poured out for the redemption of the world.

Relationship with God has always been grounded in grace.

We don’t obey to earn covenant.
We obey because we’ve been brought into it.

🙏 Today’s Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for covenant grace. Help me walk in obedience — not out of fear, but out of gratitude for the relationship You have secured.”
