You know the saying "you should never meet your heroes", well I feel that, but in the way of "don't ever re-watch movies you have a little nostalgia with". When I watched this movie for the first time I remember somewhat enjoying it because of all the comedic lines and wackiness but this time around, I felt confused, bored and kinda upset by the whole film. Wes Craven brings us to a campy era of his career but leaves us wanting more, not his best but also not his worst.
