The Sept. 8/9 sermon opens the new series Abundance: The Overflow of God’s Blessings. Genesis contrasts nothingness with abundance. Man, made in God’s image, is given stewardship over it all.
A classic stewardship talk recommends carefully managing God’s resources. But if we are made in God’s image…. and God is abundant, a small careful percentage-based response is not all that godly, rather abundance is!
