Another buzz phrase makes its way in to the work vernacular – career cushioning! We saw this one popping up in a few articles so thought it would be a good one to delve in to.

Essentially it means having a plan B to help keep yourself employable in a turbulent employment market. Of course that has implications for companies who are working hard to hold on to their top talent … but as we conclude it seems a sensible strategy for individuals to take!
