1. Thought is the point at which you can change in real-time, and the more that you create the awareness the less that you feel friction in your life.
2. 3 layers of behavior change: Changing your outcome, Changing your process, Changing your identity (the deepest layer of behavior change)
3. Awareness is the first step in providing you the opportunity to choose a different path
4. Change is a choice.
5. Tie a reward or positive thought to the behavior that you want.
6. Mel Robbins 5 Second Rule – says that when you have the thought that you want to do something and then the time comes around to do that thing and you don’t feel like doing it, Just do it. This action disrupts the process of thoughts that are convincing you not to do it.
7. Reframing your thoughts to a place of scarcity can allow you to see what you have and allow you to practice gratitude, and take action from that place.
8. Homework: If you want to try to create awareness of your behaviors you can access the Behaviors Reflection Worksheet on WMBcoaching.com/behaviors or if you just want to disrupt those thoughts and take action, try using the 5-second rule from Mel Robbins this week and just do it!
