Death is inevitable and when a loved one dies, their loss can be profound and difficult. Grief is a byproduct of someone’s death and grief can be uncomfortable, deeply painful, and confusing.
One minute you may laugh and then the next minute tears flow from nowhere. What can be more challenging is when others - even those who care about you - say: “They’re in a better place,” “move on,” or “God needed them most” when those phrases can add more sorrow than support.
I, too, have had my share of grief, gotten intense therapy for it, and I sympathize with those going through their grief journey. Join me in this episode as I talk about grief, what it means, what it can look like, and how you can manage your grief one day at a time while being patient with yourself and with others.
