Luke 24:13-35
The two disciples on the Road to Emmaus were disappointed and heartbroken by the loss of Jesus. The resurrection, however, changes their walk. Not only do they not walk alone, but they ultimately are able to walk in a completely different direction. The resurrection of Jesus changes the direction of our lives, transforming the journey of grief into a journey of grace as we are sent from the Lord's Table to share Good News!
