On this week's episode Christie and Nova explore the painful impact of miscarriage and attempt to break down and explore a topic that remains taboo for many. 

Christie shares her personal experience with miscarriage and discusses a term called disenfranchised grief. This was first coined by Kenneth J Dolka in 1989.

As Christie explains, disenfranchised grief describes a grief that isn’t acknowledged on a personal or societal level, where it’s difficult to openly acknowledge and mourn the loss and therefore support is not always received. To learn more see attached link
