What if the problem you're facing right now isn't going to last nearly as long as you think?
At a recent conference, I noticed something unusual. Morning sunlight was streaming through the auditorium windows and shining directly onto the faces of the speakers on stage. But within a few minutes, the sunshine had moved on.
That simple observation got me thinking about how we respond to challenges in our own lives.
In today's episode of Encore Living, I share three insights from that experience: why our current circumstances aren't necessarily permanent, how a small change in our own position can make a big difference, and why something we call a problem might simply be a circumstance we haven't figured out how to navigate.
Sometimes we need to give things time. Sometimes we can take action. And sometimes we can change the meaning we're giving to what's happening.
Because sometimes the sunshine moves. And sometimes you move.
