America’s relationship with MSM has become toxic. It is time to end the relationship. There is no amicable resolution. Trust has been broken, frustration and anger dominate, and compromise is not possible.Everyone at some point has lived through a toxic relationship. It usually starts with excitement, happiness, and trust. Over time, you realize that person isn't at all what you thought. In relationships, it is always hard to admit when it is over. Our collective relationship with the mainstream media is over. The news media, as we had known it, is dead. It is time to move on. They are no longer who we thought they were. Continuing to be mad at obvious media bias, solves nothing. The media is who it is, and it will not change. Our current media looks and sounds more like state-run propaganda machines seen in China and Venezuela instead of trusted, unbiased news sources. It is time to accept this and move on. This podcast discusses the toxic relationship Americans have with the news media, but more importantly how to end the relationship and discover new ways to consume news.
