Social Media and the Internet have changed, for the worse, the way Americans are communicating. The language of discourse and debate has degraded so severely in the last decade, it is in many ways unrecognizable from even 10 years ago. This podcast will review actual online forum posts from far-left and far-right websites. We then turn to how we can all become effective communicators in any setting. It is possible to dramatically alter our communication with some simple steps, whether communicating online or in-person with friends and family.
