Why do you feel the need to distract yourself? Why has procrastination plagued your being?
The cause of your distraction can come from many things, but at the core is an unease with your current state of mind. When your feeling down, or don’t like the interior of your own mind you will tend to reach for something to make you forget this. Majority of time, being our phone.
When you catch yourself doing this, you can spend time observing your own mind, and you’ll often find it’s thinking about something that scares you or makes you anxious.
Our minds are tricky things, but having awareness of this can really help.
