In this episode of '15 Minutes of Fame' we visit with Judy Rose, a 2021 inductee of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.
Judy, a former college basketball player and assistant coach moved into athletics administration in 1976 at Charlotte and was ultimately the school's Athletics Director, a position she held from 1990 until her retirement in 2018.
Her career is highlighted by starting the football program at Charlotte, numerous conference championships, facility renovations and in the 1999-2000 she became the first female to serve on the NCAA Men's Basketball Selection Committee.
