Another leadership trait of Abigail is taking responsibility.
Abigail may not have been the named head or leader of her family. But she was the one who took responsibility to avert danger coming to her household. While Nabal, the named head of the home, was partying after causing the issue, He couldn’t even take responsibility for his own actions, let alone those of his family. Responsibility and leadership go hand in hand. You can’t lead without being responsible.
Anyone can be named and given the title of influence. But leadership is not just bearing a title; it’s taking responsibility and performing the roles that make a leader. And like this story shows, we don’t need to be named to be leaders. Abigail wasn’t
