Today we continue to recount Jesus’ journey after the cross and we discuss when Jesus appeared to two of the disciples on their way to Emmaus another town. They were both downcast about what happened to Jesus and they didn’t realise that Jesus was the one walking with them. But their hearts were burning as He spoke to them like the scripture records
“Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us: Luke 24:32
This is quite similar when the Holy Spirit is highlighting something to us. Before I came to the realisation about this sometime ago, I had always wondered what that feeling is about. So today if you are feeling similar – I encourage you to lean in and press in and the Holy Spirit will reveal to you things you do not yet know.
