Genesis 41:12-16 NIV
The shift from the prison season to the shinning season is a game changer for us. But we need to remember that the way we appeared in the prison is different from the way we should appear before kings.
Like Joseph, he didn’t go before pharaoh with his prison clothes and appearance - he ensured he shaved and changed his garments to be befitting to address and meet the King of Egypt and his advisers.
It is very important to know our audience. The appearance and presentation is just as important.
In the prison we experience so many NOs and have gone through tough times and those experiences can make us timid. But we need to remember that the garment of the shining season is BOLDNESS. We need to be bold - how would Pharaoh have seen the light in Joseph if he didn’t shine it? Boldness is a priority in the shinning season!
