1 Samuel 21:1-3 NIV
Continuing from last week’s message, we start this week with David’s separation journey.
David had to run from Saul, as he was determined to kill him. But even though it seemed like a detour to spare his life. This journey was indeed orchestrated by God as part of his learning process. It was definitely a very hard one, leaving all behind and what he was used to, but as we study the passages, it was evident that God was leading him through the journey and pruning him for the throne he had prepared for him.
The beautiful thing is if we fast-forward to David’s future. We see that the puzzles all came together, God's word came to pass, and there was clear evidence of the work David had gone through, reflecting when he officially became the King of Israel compared to Saul’s rule.
