1 Samuel 17:55; Isaiah 60:3 NIV
ย
As David approached Goliath, Saul saw him and began to ask questions about who he was. Not at the point of winning the battle, but even before he fought Goliath, Saul had seen that he was going to win already. Kings will come to the brightness of your rising." Isaiah 69:3 - before the nations even see the light!
Even though David had played the lyre for Saul. He was no longer just the lyre player. He was the one Israel had been waiting for.
This happened because David was braveโbravery is so important! How would God have shown up if David had sat and refused to go? Similar to Joseph, who was bold enough to go to the king of Egypt.
In our walk with God, bravery is very important, especially to stand before kings. Bravery requires us to trust God!
